Someone To Love
Scented candles, Chardonnay, roses and seductive music. The
mood was just right and the evening would be perfect. Ray had carefully chosen everything that would make it so. The finest wine, beautiful roses and candles whose very scent aroused the senses.
Surveying the room, he was satisfied with the results. The setting was
perfect and Ray knew she would be pleased. He smiled. Filling the wine glasses would be the final step to phase one and the beginning of a night filled with pleasure.
Ray heard the key in the lock and the front door opened. It was
time to put phase two in effect.
He pulled her into an embrace. She felt so good in his arms. "Hey,
baby. What took you so long to get home? I've been looking forward to this evening all day." He wanted to spend all evening loving her and hated to waste one minute due to traffic jams or last minute tie-ups at work.
"There's a winter storm warning in effect and I think we're in for a
big snowfall this evening. It started snowing just when I left work and you know how traffic gets when that happens."
After he took her coat and hung it in the closet she closed her eyes
and inhaled the wonderful aromas that drifted from the kitchen. "I would have been here sooner if I had known you were cooking dinner."
"Everything's almost ready. Here you go," he said, handing her a
glass of wine. "Just a little something to help you wind down. Let's make a toast while we wait."
"A toast to what?" she asked already knowing that she would like
the answer.
Ray placed his glass on the table and replied, "To passion." He
began to unbutton her sweater. "To longing." He moved his hands down to her waist and unhooked the clasp on her skirt letting it fall to her feet. "To quenching one's thirst."
